南安普敦是英格兰南部的一个沿海港口城市，到首都伦敦只需火车车程一小时。历史悠久的南安普顿大学（University of Southampton，简称SOTON）前身是成立于1862年由当地慈善家HARTLEY先生出资兴建的哈特利学院，后于1902年成为附属于伦敦大学的一所学院。1919年,搬迁至现在的HIGHFIELD校区,并更名为哈特利大学学院，在1952年获得皇家特许状正式改名为南安普顿大学 |

Duties of Executive Committee
Chairwoman – Ms. YUE Mingjia (99/00 MSc in Finance & Economics)
Duties include:
Presiding at all meetings of the group and is executive committee.
Representing the group in its dealings with other organisations or people outside the group.
Serving as the group’s liaison with the Alumni Relations Office and the University.
Overseeing, coordinating activity of other officers and committee chairpersons, including communication with the Alumni Relations Office.

Profile of Executive Committee Members
Ms. YUE Mingjia (99/00 MSc in Finance & Economics)
One year in Southampton has been my most favourable memory and experience. I chose the MS programme in Finance and Economics in SOTON in order to strengthen the specific area. Under the guide of different lecturers in both Economics Dept. and Management school, I did enhance my academic background and explore some new and efficient methods of study.
